Cultural Night

Every year, our organization, UP Tomo-Kai (also known as Philippines Japan Friendship Club) celebrates it’s anniversary. A Tomo-Kai tradition, the cultural night, which is held on the night of the last day of the week, officially culminates the anniversary week. On this night, a spectrum of cultural performances is sure to amaze and amuse all of our guests. Various expressions and interpretations of traditional and contemporary aspects of Filipino and Japanese culture like songs and dances will be requested from groups such as the UP Singing Ambassadors, UP Repertory Company, budding artists from the UP Underground Music Community, Philippine Okinawan Society, J-Rock bands from < href="http://ongaku-society.org">Ongaku Society and the Japanese exchange students
