At only 24 years old, CRISTALLE BELO-HENARES is the Managing Director of Intelligent Skin Care Inc., the company that pioneered the breakthrough product of the year BELO Essentials. She is the youngest daughter of Dr. Vicki Belo, the Philippines’ Ambassadress of Beauty and founder of the Philippines’ biggest dermatological, laser and cosmetic surgery center, The BELO Medical Group. She is a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University and is currently taking up her MBA at the University of Western Australia. A well travelled lady, Cristalle enjoys diving, visiting new places both here and abroad, baking, arts and craft as well as water color painting.
DAVID FABROS is no stranger to the world of fashion, advertising and show business. Formerly with ABS CBN’s Star Circle (as Talent Development Manager), he is now one of the Philippines’ most in demand celebrity and fashion photographers and is the founder and head of Vision Capture Photography & Events. His portfolio boasts of having worked with some of the country’s biggest stars including Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, Kristine Hermosa, Diether Ocampo, Claudine Barretto, as well as top models and celebrities alike. He recently published a coffee table book on the life and images of Filipino actor Piolo Pascual, and created the 2006 and 2007 Star Magic Catalog for ABS CBN Publishing.
Noted fashion designer EDWIN TAN, a Ben Farrales scholar, has been in the made to measure business for the last twelve years. Having attended fashion courses in New York, Edwin specializes in classic formals for both men and women and is most popular for his wide collection of wedding gowns, as well as the Filipino classic Barong Tagalog. He also holds a study and live in grant from the Cultural Arm of the Spanish Government. Edwin is a self-confessed MANGA fan and advocates the wisdom found in cartoons including anime which he considers “the same as all the good human qualities venerated in good literature.”
JEROME LORICO started his career in fashion designing and conceptualizing basic garments, accessories and even handicrafts. He was an accessory designer for Alex Pigao at Philippine Fashion Week 2006 and was a national semi-finalists for various local design competitions before ultimately winning the first ever Animax Fashion-Ability in 2006. Last year, Animax sponsored Jerome at the 45th Japan International Fashion Design Competition where he was given a Special Jury Prize Award. His goal is to inspire young people to pursue their dreams and is hopeful that the local design industry will soon be recognized by a global audience.
Philippines’ Next Top Model Winner Grendel Alvarado is an up and coming star in the fashion world. A favorite of top fashion magazines such as Preview and Cosmopolitan, Grendel has also appeared in numerous runway shows as well as an international modeling competition. She is also one of the models for Animax Fashion-Ability Philippines in 2006. Hailing from Bacolod, the 23 year old mannequin enjoys writing, reading, cooking, sketching and travelling and dreams of walking the runways of Paris and New York.
Juno L. Henares-Chuidian is Vice President of Program Packaging and Merchandising for Sky Cable Corporation. She oversees all programming, advertising, content marketing & public relations for the multi-system operator. She returned to the Philippines from Los Angeles where she graduated with a Masters degree in Business Administration from the John E. Anderson School of Business at the University of California in Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, she worked at Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation for programming, program acquisition, and program distribution for home entertainment, international television, and international theatrical and international pay television. Ms. Henares-Chuidian currently sits on the Board for the Philippine Cable Television Association, and serves with the Council of Governors for the Cable Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia.
