The mods have decided to have the OT Boards as a paid-member feature only.  Since paid membership is helpful in keeping the site up, we will not disable the feature among our paid members.

With that said, personally, when an online forums get TOO MANY posts in its Off Topic boards, then it might as well be a GENERAL DISCUSSION forum.  The OS Forums is specifically a community for Pinoy J-MUSIC enthusiasts and we’d like to keep the meat of the our posts focused on that.  We’d like members to contribute on the MORE IMPORTANT topics in the forums and the Off-Topic Boards is plainly a minor section in the OS Forums.

I understand your feelings about this matter, but the mods have a more important concern and that is to keep the site afloat.  Thank you.

rules for the PREFERRED MEMBERS-ONLY FREE TALK boards are being revamped in light of the recent migration of the OT boards to a PREFERRED MEMBERS-ONLY feature. as such, a high probability of thread deletion will occur, and may affect the post count of several members including those who do not belong to the PREFERRED MEMBERS. thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Upon further deliberation, the OS mods have decided to reinstate the OT boards WITH a number of several restrictions.  PLEASE READ THEM HERE.  Thank you.

Unfortunately, yes.  We had to clear the old OT boards to make way for our new OT rules.  ;^_^
