The Japan Foundation Grants an All-Expense-Paid Study-Tour to Japan 2008 Japanese-Language Program for Overseas Students (Outstanding Students)

The Japan Foundation, Manila will administer the competitive / qualifying examination and interview on 31 May (Saturday, 8:30 a.m.) for the 2008 Japanese Language Program for Overseas Students (outstanding students). The program is intended to offer outstanding students of the Japanese Language at universities / colleges and other educational institutions the opportunity to visit Japan and to deepen their knowledge of the language, society and culture for the purpose of further encouragement of their study. Together with other country representatives, the Philippine grantee will be awarded a two-week study tour (September 10-24, 2008), hosted by the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai.

The deadline for submission of the duly accomplished application form (with photo and Certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency of at least - Level 3) will be on Friday, 23 May.
